1,000-Foot Skyscraper in the Works for Denver

The 19th tallest building in United States could someday be located in Denver, Colorado.

An iconic figure could be added to the Denver skyline is a Manhattan developer can deliver on a proposed 1,000-foot tower in Downtown.

"Greenwich Realty Capital on Wednesday released details for a 90-story high-rise it plans to construct at 650 17th St., in the heart of Denver’s central business district," reports Joe Rubino. "The mixed-use structure, Six Fifty 17, would be greater than 1 million square feet in size. It would feature 284 luxury condos, a hotel, 22,000 square feet of retail space and 500 parking spots."

The skyscraper proposal is still very preliminary, according to Rubino, but the developer is quoted in the article expressing 100 percent support for the project.
