The first train from the United States' first new private passenger rail system in more than a century, left the station at 9:35 a.m. on January 12, 2018. Despite the initial service being limited to a 40-minute trip between West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, Brightline officials are already exploring massive expansion possibilities.
