The perennial debate is renewed, and potentially resolved: Which city's metro system has the best transit map?

Julie Strupp shares news of the World Cup of Transit Maps, a first-of-its-kind competition that pits the maps of 32 metro systems from cities around the world against each other in a winter-takes-all contest.
"Voters are asked to consider the design of the "current official transit map for each city as found on the agency’s website," and decide which of the two maps is best based on their own criteria," explains Strupp.
The World Cup of Transit Maps is the work of Portland-based transit graphic designer Cameron Booth.
