Rita Abou Samra reveals more details about the CC2DCA pedestrian bridge project, proposed as a link between the main commercial area of Crystal City, Virginia and Ronald Reagan National Airport and Mount Vernon trail.

After news broke about the proposed pedestrian bridge in November, local officials have completed a feasibility study and Arlington County has launched its County Improvement Plan budget, "which could include funding for the project," reports Samra.

Samra's article reveals renderings, more details about the goal of the project, and an emerging opposition to the proposal. On that last issue, "[t]hose in the 'hate it' category have criticized spending taxpayer money on something with very little direct return on investment."
