Homestead, Pennsylvania is working on a new zoning map, but decided to delay a vote to adopt proposed revisions "after residents raised questions about the changes," reports Anne Cloonan.

"A number of residents at the Dec. 13 meeting whose homes are in the areas to be rezoned expressed concerns about whether they could sell houses that would now be in commercial zones as residences, among other worries," explains Cloonan.

Apparently the borough's planning commission held four public hearings on the proposed zoning changes, but no members of the public attended.
