Andrew Trueblood, 35 years old and just under the threshold of Millennial status, has been nominated to the deal the Washington, D.C. Office of Planning.

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser recently appointed several cabinet-level positions to kick off a second term in office, including appointing Andrew Trueblood at the head of the D.C. Office of Planning.
"Trueblood, 35, has worked for the District government since 2013, when he joined as deputy chief of staff to then-Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development Victor Hoskins, under then-Mayor Vince Gray. After Bowser became mayor in 2015, Trueblood graduated to chief of staff to Deputy Mayor Brian Kenner," reports Andrew Giambrone.
At the time of Giambrone's witing, the D.C. Council had yet to schedule a hearing to confirm Trueblood's appointment. But if and when he enters the position, Trueblood is expected to work on changes to the District's Comprehensive Plan.
