Rent Prices Spike in Canada

The largest price jump in 30 years hit the rental market in Canada at the beginning of the year.

Eric Zimmer reports that 2019 is already a very expensive year for renters in Canada.

According to Statistics Canada, rental prices achieved a historically significant for a one-month spike in prices, jumping 0.9% in January.

The last time rental prices jumped so high, so fast, the year was 1989.
