How and where are people shopping for groceries online?
"Texas has one of the highest adoption rates for online grocery pickup service nationally," reports Paul Takahashi.
Takahashi is reporting the findings of a survey of 2,000 online shoppers by Offers.com. "Nationally, 23 percent of Americans have used a grocery pickup service, according to the online couponing website."
There's a flip side to the adoption of online grocery services in Texas—residents there use online grocery delivery services less than the rest of the country. "About 15 percent of Texans have used a grocery delivery service while nationally, 19 percent have used the service," according to Takahashi.
Takahashi also provides more insights into the results of the survey on a national scale, including which a breakdown of which stores Americans are using for their online grocery services, and how much consumers are spending.
