One Pittsburgh brewery is brewing a beer for every one of the city's 92 neighborhoods.

"Pittsburgh’s East End Brewing Co. plans to put up 92 different cans of beer — one named for each city neighborhood, reports Bob Batz.
The brewery, located in the neighborhood of Larimer in Pittsburgh, is calling the neighborhood beers the "You Are Here" series. The series kicked off last weekend with an imperial shandy ale named for the neighborhood of Allentown.
But wait, there's more! The canned beers will also include designs with the map of the city and an outline of each neighborhood.
Batz provides a little more on the roll out of the beers, locally-focused events, of course, an the motivations of the brewery in undertaking the effort:
All the recipes will be new ones, and the brewery will rearrange its brewing schedule to accommodate them. Many of the cans will be released at pop-up events in the neighborhoods.
East End Brewing owner Scott Smith says this series of beers is a way for the brewery, which started in Homewood 15 years ago, to engage with various neighborhoods and its partners and customers — and to get people to spend time in neighborhoods they might not usually visit.
