A new report estimates the cost of inaccurate maps for delivery companies in the billions of dollars.

"Imperfect directions, incomplete maps, parking problems and missed delivery windows are costing delivery companies an estimated $6 billion a year," reports Jason Plautz.
Plautz is sharing the findings of a report published recently by Mapillary.
"The report surveyed 219 U.S. delivery drivers that operate both cars and trucks" to estimate that delivery companies waste "$2.5 billion in wasted salary and $611 million in extra miles driven" every year, according to Plautz.
