The Pritzker Architecture Prize announced its winners today, making history by naming a pair of women for architecture's top honor.

Yvonne Farrell and Shelley McNamara have today been named the 2020 recipients of the Pritzker Prize for their work as cofounders of Grafton Architects. The Pritzker Prize has been around for 41 years, awarding, with Farrell and McHamara now included, 48 laureates. The duo are only the fourth and fifth women ever to win the award.
