The new bikes include a recumbent bicycle and a front-loading cargo bike.

According to an article by Denise Bonura in Pittsburgh Magazine, the city’s bike share program is rolling out a fleet of adaptive bikes designed to provide mobility options for people of all abilities.
Adaptive POGOH, as the fleet is called, is funded by an AARP grant and “will include a recumbent bicycle, a tandem bicycle, a front-loading cargo bicycle and a hand tricycle.”
POGOH is still figuring out where the bikes will live permanently. Meanwhile, POGOH’s director of marketing & community outreach Erin Potts says “While these cycles won’t be available at POGOH’s stations, we’ll be renting them along the trail to offer one-on-one demonstrations and assistance with fitting the cycles to each rider.”
