Low ridership and driver shortages mean the Denver area's Regional Transportation District cut bus service.
"Service reductions on multiple Regional Transportation District bus lines, including a midday slowdown on the 16th Street Mall shuttle, [took] effect Sunday," reports John Aguilar.
"RTD says it determined the service cuts based on ridership numbers and staffing availability," according to Aguilar. According to an earlier article on the service cuts, also by Aguilar, RTD made the cuts in response to low ridership and driver shortages.
