These parks are feasible for urban renewal in cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Boston, but would require minor changes in property law to allow for communal property. The Atlantic Monthly uses the famous Macdougal-Sullivan Gardens Historic District in New York City's Greenwich Village as an example.
