"With the rising cargo volumes and land becoming increasingly scarce and expensive in Los Angeles County, a new trend has emerged in commercial real estate development. A number of warehouse and distribution companies coupled with logistics, maintenance, repair, and overhaul businesses now are developing facilities outside the Los Angeles Basin to create a global access network to move goods from the L.A. area throughout California and North America via air, ground, rail transportation, and port connections."
