Milwaukee Mayor John O. Norquist will become president and chief executive officer of the Congress for The New Urbanism.
"Mayor John Norquist will leave office at the end of the year to take a job in Chicago leading an urban development organization, ending a term that was clouded by an extramarital affair and harassment settlement with a former staffer... Norquist has long been associated with the New Urbanism movement and with the organization he will now head. He has served as a board member of the congress, which works with developers and city planners on creating compact, walkable neighborhoods and attractive public spaces."
