"Michigan passed over funding for bike paths and public transit and instead emphasized road construction that did little to relieve congestion or air pollution, according to a study released today...Michigan spent the least among the Midwest states on repairs, despite having the worst bridges in the nation and the highest percentage of roads in fair to poor condition in the region, the study notes."
