"The round high-rise buildings and "barracks-style" rowhouses at the Highland Park public housing development at 17th Street and Highland Avenue on Milwaukee's near west side will be replaced by a mixture of more attractive housing in a $30 million project...When Highland Park was built at the height of the 1960s "urban renewal" trend, it was made to look "completely, starkly different than the beautiful neighborhood that it was in..."
