Downtown Sacramento, CA, has developed a healthy night life through coordination between developers, the City, and the Downtown Sacramento Partnership.
Downtown Sacramento, never much known for its night life, seems to be coming into its own. A colorful, walkable entertainment district is emerging, concentrated around the Convention Center and the new Music Circus. The projects are transforming the downtown and surrounding neighborhoods, boosting the economy and infusing the area with urban liveliness. They've also brought some big-city growing pains: traffic, noise, parking shortages and increasingly unaffordable housing.
