Angie Schmitt writes a farewell post of Streetsblog USA, leaving the site after nine years and countless contributions to the planning conversation. In the article, Schmitt describes how the world and her views have changed while working at the site. The post also offers Schmitt a chance to express love for Streetsblog and its readers.
This won't be the last any of us hear from Schmitt, however. "This spring, [Schmitt] signed a deal to write a book about the pedestrian safety crisis in America with Island Press. It will be published next fall."
