"I realize that many owners of SUVs and pickups prefer to drive such large vehicles because they are safer in a crash. That's fine. But the size and height of SUVs puts other drivers at greater risk. So it's only fair that SUV drivers accept more responsibility for protecting other drivers...It seems to be the politically correct thing these days to knock SUVs, but what about semis, panel trucks, dump trucks and even large pickups and minivans?"
