"Vox Media’s Curbed is shutting down its city sites for Washington, D.C., Seattle, New Orleans and Philadelphia," reports J. Clara Chan.

"The local offshoots of the real estate and urban design blog are the first to shutter since Vox Media’s September acquisition of New York magazine in an all-stock deal for an undisclosed amount, but the spokesperson said that the decision to shut down the Curbed sites are not related to the merger," explains Chan.

A statement from a Vox Media spokesperson is also included in the article.
