Builders say market forces indicate a surprising trend -- the opposite of urban sprawl.
"New homes are being slipped onto lots between existing homes. New subdivisions, often with houses on smaller lots, are being slipped into the nooks and crannies of undeveloped land within two or three miles of downtown.Some builders say there is more of a market push now for new homes closer into town. Tallahassee and Leon County growth policies are designed to encourage 'infill' as an antidote to urban sprawl."
