Mary Wisniewski reports: "Adding to the growing list of large Chicago events canceled due to concerns over the new coronavirus, the 2020 National Shared Mobility Summit, a conference on transportation issues, will not go forward next week."

The event had been planned for March 17-19 in Chicago, according to the article. The event was planned by the Chicago-base Shared-Use Mobility Center and was expected to attract attendees from all over the country. The Shared-Use Mobility Center tells Wisniewski that plans to hold virtual sessions are being finalized.

A string of events have been cancelled in Chicago, with 11 confirmed cases of Coronavirus reported in the state of Illinois. Another high-level event with planning-related events, South by Southwest, was cancelled earlier this month.
