No one has quite entered the market yet, but Allford believes we are ready. So does Professor David Gann, director of the innovation study centre at Imperial College, London. 'There's such pent-up demand that we need to be more flexible about what we think of as housing and how we deliver it,' he says. 'Temporary housing is one way we could ameliorate the situation.' "
