With the state budget a seemingly unreliable source of funding, local transit authorites are looking to the federal government and searching for creative funding solutions to finance their projects. One such proposal is Senator Kevin Murray's (D-Los Angeles) SB 314, which aims to provide the Los Angeles area with sales tax revenue for infrastructure projects.
