"Khodynka Field, where the most famous stampede in Russian history left 1,400 people trampled to death during Nicholas II's coronation celebrations in 1896, is about to be converted into a high-class city within a city complete with its own schools, kindergartens, churches, clinics, parks, stadiums and shopping centers... Among such objects are a 30-hectare park located in the center of the former airfield, two high schools, four kindergartens, a large clinic, a new stadium for Dynamo hockey club, a 240,000-square-meter shopping mall and entertainment center with underground parking, a hotel, a business center, a church, and a chapel commemorating the pioneers of aviation."
