Study Highlights Racial Differences In Rent

Study suggest that white New Yorkers pay more rent that non-whites because they are "finicky."

"New York City whites with the equivalent socio-economic background as blacks and Hispanics pay on average hundreds of dollars more in rent, according to new data released by a housing policy group. The findings suggest that white New Yorkers are placing more of an emphasis on living in certain trendy neighborhoods, despite their high costs, than non-whites, who are more concerned with affordability, housing experts said."
