Which States Generate The Most Casino Trips?

Five states generated more than one-third of casino trips in the United States. Seventeen percent of casino trips originated in California alone. Florida became a top 10 state in 2002,supplying 10.5 million casino trips (4% of the U.S. market share) -- a surprise given the lack of convenient gaming destinations for Florida residents.Casino gambling is enjoyed throughout the United States. Thirty-one states each generated more than 2 million casino trips last year. Arkansas (2.2 million trips) was added to the listin 2002, while North Carolina and Georgia were dropped (1.9 million trips)." Editor's note: The link below is to a 1MB PDF document.
