A new affordable housing development in Hollywood, CA will set a precedent for addressing the affordable housing needs of GLBT seniors.

"Hollywood is expected to become home to the nation's first-ever housing development for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender senior citizens....The $18 million, 103-unit complex...will serve low- and medium-income seniors....Officials estimate there are 30,000 to 75,000 gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender senior citizens in the greater Los Angeles area....Housing will not be limited to gays and lesbians."
