A reader complains about having to share roads with bicycles and says that bikes cause congestion.
Even though roads were first used by people on foot, horses, and bicycles long before automobiles, a letter to the editor complains that bicycles don't belong on the streets. "the road is meant for cars. Driving is a dangerous task alone, why should I have to worry about someone being on a bike two feet away from my car?The little lane on the side of the road is just not enough space from traffic. Bicycles are creating added congestion where it's not needed."
