Regional transportation study finds Organge County trafficwill worsen over the next 20 years

A regional transportation study says that traffic fromRiverside, Los Angeles, and San Bernardino counties into Orange County could slow to a crawl over the next 20 years. The Orange County population ispredicted to increase by 22 percent by 2020. The studyalso found that the morning rush "hour" will increaseto six to seven hours. The congestion is attributed tojob growth in Orange County and affordable housingin the Inland Empire. The study recommends solutionssuch as incentives for car-poolers.
