Last year, Governor Davis signed into law AB 857 (Wiggins/Sher), establishing planning priorities and processes for more streamlined planning. The new law will have a dramatic impact on the development of infrastructure in the state, as well as promoting a smart growth approach to development. The Planning Report presents this interview with Nick Bollman, President and CEO of the California Center for Regional Leadership, on the promise of AB 857.
