"Construction cranes punctuate the Minneapolis skyline, but they aren't building office towers: They're erecting cultural landmarks." Projects highlighted include "a new Guthrie Theater, a new downtown library, an addition to Walker Art Center and extensions to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and the Children's Theatre Company." "By 2006, these projects -- along with the Mill City Museum, which opened this fall on the Mississippi riverfront -- will have transformed the Twin Cities landscape."
