Five King County transportation planners file a 'whistle-blower complaint' against colleagues over growth assumptions.

"A year ago King County transportation officials concluded that 1,500 new homes near Redmond wouldn't push traffic congestion on local roads beyond the county's adopted limits. In response, five King County transportation planners filed a complaint with the ombudsman's office, arguing that the roads division had misused their models with bad assumptions and methodology. The county executive commissioned David Evans & Associates to investigate. Their recent report points out several flaws in the methodology."
