City of Gardena official are considering an ordinance that will require new trucking centers with more than 5 trucks or larger than 15,000 square feet, to obtain a permit based on an environmental review. Officials maintain that trucks wear out city streets, cause diesel pollution, and contribute little revenue to the city.
