You would think that given the number of families with children in the U.S., it would not be difficult to find child-friendly communities. Yet, many parents are doing extensive research to make sure their chosen community has the right blend of elements to provide the best possible environment for raising their children. Sought after attributes include good schools, low crime, neighborhood activities, plenty of other children, and close-by amentities such as libraries, restaurants, and video stores.
