Cisco Negotiates Campus Plan

Cisco Systems is negotiating with conservation groups over its plan for a 20,000 worker campus in California's pristine Coyote valley.

Cisco Systems if facing opposition over its plan for a 20,000 worker campus in California's pristine Coyote valley. Cisco is now negotiatingwith leading conservation groups to reduce the opposition to its plan to build the campus is San Jose's most desirable open space.. It has offered to donate $3 million for open space, endorse and help fund a political campaign, and form a coalition to raise $50 million for wildlife preserves and public parks. The conservation groups are not enthusiastic about the offer and are concerned about increased traffic, dirtier air and higher housing prices.
