Abundant Park Space Does Not Mean Easy Access

A new study from the Trust for Public Land finds that in many cities, 2/3rds of all children do not live within walking distance of a public park.

While the amount of public parks per capita in cities like Los Angeles, CA roughly match the national average, the concentration of these open spaces outside of the central city causes severe inequities in park access.
