‘Curb Enthusiasm’ features transportation experts and discussions on local, national, and global transportation planning topics.

The New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) is launching a new podcast “offering unique insight into what’s new, innovative, and exciting in the world of transportation and urban planning.”
The podcast, Curb Enthusiasm, will be a platform for transportation professionals from various agencies, organizations, and levels of government. The first episode, posted this week, featured USDOT Deputy Secretary Polly Trottenberg and a discussion about “the transportation sector’s role in addressing the climate crisis, reconnecting communities divided by urban highways, reducing traffic fatalities, building the support needed to bring big ideas to fruition, and her proudest accomplishments at U.S. DOT, among other topics.”
Host Emily Weidenhof is the assistant commissioner of public realm at NYC DOT and helped evolve the city’s Open Streets program.
