District residents can apply for a subsidy of up to $1,500 to purchase e-bikes.

Washington, D.C. residents can soon apply for the District’s renewed e-bike incentive program, which offers vouchers of up to $1,500 to residents for e-bike purchases, reports Amber Anderson for WUSA9.
“Last year we helped 293 District residents purchase an e-bike, providing a viable option for transportation for those that might otherwise not have the means,” said District Department Of Transportation Director Sharon Kershbaum.
The application window opens on February 1 and closes on February 21.
