The Seventh Architecture Biennale, an international exhibition in Venice, Italy, explores new concepts of urban space, influenced by the Internet and evolving technologies.Driven by electronics and global communications, the exhibition's theme focuses on the idea that "...towns are evolving from planned, well-defined frameworks into open, urban fields. Upon these borderless areas are superimposed, like the Internet, networks of people accessing information and connecting to others who share opinions and interests. "
