The small city of Trollhattan is Europe's new hot-spot film location; its mix of brick factories and industrial landscape provides the perfect backdrop for avant-garde auteurs. But just a decade ago, the city was mired in a deep economic and social depression. Now, spurred on by regulations promoting local businesses, Trollhattan's best and brightest no longer flee to Stockholm in search of opportunity.
