The Australian Koala Foundation warns that koalas on the east coast could be extinct within 15 years unless action is taken to curb development...the foundation had gathered data from 1,018 field sites of koala habitats showing how populations had been decimated by urban sprawl and dogs...'The joke is the koala brings in $2.5 billion in tourism dollars...'"
