Disney's Third California Theme Park

Disney plans to build a third theme park in Anaheim, California, alongside existing Disneyland,and Disney's California Adventure.

A third theme park planned by Disney in Anaheim, California could include water rides,and an integrated retail, dining and entertainment complex. The first phase of the new project is expected to start in 2003 with completion planned for 2010. Disney hasstarted an environmental review process that could take up to nine months and thecompany says it is keen to work with "... Anaheim residents, businesses and civic leaders to identify opportunities that will ensure thatthe Anaheim Resort Area remains a world-class destination for thedecades ahead.''
