Deloitte's development practice releases "The Real Estate Capital Markets Industry Outlook – Mid-2004 and Beyond", which highlights ten key issues facing the industry. This report is the seventh in a series by the Deloitte Real Estate Capital Markets Services practice and is based on its continuous tracking of real estate data as well as on numerous interviews with industry leaders.

"Real estate investors are still attempting to read the economic tealeaves. An array of strong economic numbers seemed to indicate thata significant recovery had finally begun. Yet worries persisted overnegative trends including anemic job growth, mushrooming federaland state deficits, a large trade deficit, and high consumer debt."
