An Arab nation enters the biggest-and-tallest sweepstakes at this year's Expo Real.
Emaar Properties, an $8 billion publicly traded real estate company listed on the Dubai stock exchange, "is planning to showcase Burj Dubai, a planned new urban development that it claims will be include world's tallest building, eclipsing current record-holding structures and the Freedom Tower at Ground Zero... The 20-acre Burj Dubai complex, which features a man-made lake, will also include the "largest mall in the world," a 9 million square foot shoppers' paradise. The developers say they expect the mall to attract 35 million visitors in the first year of operation."
