Portland's Skinny House Competition

An innovative design competition sponsored by the City of Portland attempts to provide design ideas to infill developers.

"The 49 designs chosen in the first stage of judging are among 426 entries in the two-stage contest, conceived last summer in the midst of citywide debate over skinny houses. The designs are intended to give ideas to developers, who have faced criticism for the appearance of infill housing on lots as narrow as 15 feet."
