In September, Hong Kong will become the fifth city to host a Disney theme park -- including the world's first dedicated subway line.
"The city is attempting to build thousands of new hotel rooms, finishing a special subway line -- the world's first dedicated to a theme park -- and officials anticipate a total reshaping of the city's investment image.
...The park, set to open Sept. 12th, is a joint venture between Disney and the Hong Kong government, but its the local taxpayers that are footing most of its $3.5 billion bill. The park is part of the government's plan to make Hong Kong a major Asian getaway for vacationing families."
