A major city center development is expected to have a $1 billion impact on Spokane's economy.
Regional Developer Marshall Chesrown will unveil the master plan for a 70+ acre waterfront development adjacent to the city of Spokane's Central Business District. The 70 acre site was purchased in January of 2005 in a forclosure auction for $12.8 million. The project plans include nearly 1000 residences and almost 1.5 million sqf. of commercial space. The first time I saw the Spokane River, I said, This is an amazing set of circumstances, Johnson says. To have 90 contiguous acres of land poised on a bluff over a river is really unique. You dont see anything like it anywhere in the country.
